Candice Johnson is a 10-year-old dreamer, creator, and author. Born and raised in western Pennsylvania, Candice discovered her love for storytelling at just 6 years old. She began her writing journey by creating homemade books, carefully stapling sheets of paper together to bring her imaginative tales to life. Over the past four years, Candice has continued to develop her craft, turning her simple stapled creations into more elaborate stories that showcase her growing creativity and passion for writing.

Candice's first book, "Candice's Adventures: Meeting My BFF." is about a girl who's about to start middle school and is feeling super nervous about it. But then something amazing happens. A girl from Madrid, Spain moves in next door, and even though they're from completely different backgrounds and cultures, they become best friends. And that friendship helps Candice realize she's braver and stronger than she thought.
